.Commissioned weaving Weaving commissions accepted

Incorporating traditional weaving techniques and patterns to create contemporary wall hangings I weave on a sixteen harness dobby floor loom using lightweight anodized aluminum wire. Sizes range from 2 inches to 20 inches wide and as long as 38 feet.

Greater size can be achieved by combining small weavings to form alarge piece

 
 

The kimonos are created from bronze or stainless steel screening and embellished with scraps of wire saved from the weavings, electronic odds and ends, and a variety of found treasures. They measure 13 inches by 13 inches to almost life size, 36 inches by 36 inches.
